Stainless Steel Investment Castings, Machined and Finished to Drawing

Stainless steel investment castings on an inspection table

Investment casting, also called lost-wax casting, is part of our metal component work. It produces complex steel parts close to their final shape, which can reduce machining on features that would otherwise take many operations.

What we cover

  • Wax pattern dies – tooling for the wax patterns
  • Lost-wax castings – in stainless, carbon and alloy steel
  • Heat treatment – castings can be supplied as cast or heat treated
  • Machining and finishing – to your drawing

Why it matters

Valve bodies, impellers, brackets and levers often combine curved surfaces, internal shapes and thin sections. Casting those shapes close to size means fewer set-ups and less material removed, while critical faces and threads can still be machined.
